Levelle Connor grew up in a small town in Texas and spent
her younger days living on her family’s ranch. When she grew up, she moved to
California, where she built radios during World War II. As she continued to
grow, she had the opportunity to travel to many places including Spain, Israel,
and, her particular favorite, the Orient. She remembers the shopping being
